Hi,
I live in Aurora Ontario, just north of Toronto. I’ve been working in community development and youth work for quite some time. I love this field because it’s important work and the challenges of facilitating change on many levels are exciting and stimulating to me.
This blog is a blend of my interest in online/networked learning, communities of practice and my social (family, friends, fun) interests. My career work centers on community development, program design/development and youth work. I am employed as Manager, Canadian Programs with Street Kids International.
My project at Street Kids International is called Streetjibe – linking youth poverty solutions. It’s a community of practice that brings youth workers from diverse sectors together to learn from each other and develop new skills and strategies to engage youth who are experiencing poverty and homelessness.
My outside interests are tennis and participating in a variety of community volunteer roles. I chose my Blog title recognizing that I’m really made up of light energy and part of the greater cosmos. It’s like Albert Einstein says “Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune intoned in the distance by an invisible player”.

I had some fun playing with this stuff. Thanks for the introduction.
Brent,
I love your About Page and that I get a sense of who you are as a person. You sound like the kind of person with whom I’d like to hang out! That said, I’d suggest that you include upfront your name and where you are located. I find it so important to have that geographic sense to better locate people — to place people in the context of locales (yes, we’re all on the same planet…in the same cosmos…but where on earth do you call home?)
Keep bloggin’
Cammy
