Stepping Stones

I had a very good time with my daughter Meghan on Sunday and an even better time on Monday with my friend Bill. On Sunday we only watched 5 points before the rain started and canceled matches for the afternoon. We had a good time none the less as we toured the grounds, I bought a few shirts and Meghan had a first hand look at the professional tennis culture and players.

On Monday, we had perfect weather. Not too hot, a nice breeze and small crowds. Bil and I were at the Ontario Tennis Association recognition breakfast for OTA Club Presidents. I took Bill as my guest and he met up with some of his old associates and friends when he was heavily involved as a tennis instructor. My high point was taking pictures of Justin Henin. She is so much more dynamic and photogenic in person than when you see her on TV. She hits a mean ball as well and no wonder she is ranked # 1 in the world.
